BRAKE/((!)) Brake system
The ligh t illum inat es when th e igni t ion is
sw itc he d on. It goes ou t aft er t he eng ine has
been started. This ind icates that the bra ke
warn ing light is functioning properly .
If the brake warning light does not light up
when the engine is cranking , there may be a
malfunction in the electrical system. In this
case , contact your Audi dealer.
If t he br ake syst em war ning/ind icator light
turns on, t here is a bra ke system mal func t ion .

vehicle and check brake fluid level
If t he indicator ligh t turns on and t he mes -
sage a ppears, proceed as fo llows:
