Description
Applies to: vehicles with night vision assistant
Night vision assistant with pedestrian and wild
animal detection assists you in darkness by using
an infrared camera to monitor the area in front of
your veh icle, with in the limits of the system .
It
can display objects up to app roximately
1000 feet (300 meters) away. The hea t image
detected by the camera is shown in the instr u-
ment cluster display. Warm areas appea r lighter
and cold areas appear darker.

With in the limits of the system, nigh t vision as-
sistant can detect pedestrians and wild animals
that are within the detection range between ap-
proximate ly 32 feet (10 meters) and 295 feet
(90 meters) in front of the vehicle. When it is
dark outside and the headlights are swit ched on,
