23. AVH Hub Terminal: 1, RJ45 jack connects to a KP21 Keypad Terminal [pentagon 5] on an
AVH21 A/V Hub. This connection provides two-way communication between the keypad and
AVH21 Hub for zone/system control. It also receives digital audio data to the keypad from the
AVH21 for audio from common source components as selected by the zone keypad or a local
IR remote.
24. Speaker Terminal: 1, four position screw-terminal provides connection to local zone
speakers.
25. Keypad Address Dip Switch (side): 1, six-position DIP switch allows configuration of a
unique keypad address for up to 20 KP21’s in a single system.
26. Zone Right Channel Preamp Output: 1, two-position screw terminal for connection of the
keypad’s right channel, line level audio output to a local high-power amplifier, surround
receiver or sub-woofer.
27. Zone Left Channel Preamp Output: 1, two-position screw terminal for connection of the
keypad’s left channel, line level audio output, to a local high-power amplifier, surround
receiver or sub-woofer.
28. Zone/Keypad Amplifier: 50 Watt per channel digital amplifier. Provides clean, high-power
audio of selected source to connected zone speakers by reducing the distance from the
amplifier to the speakers.
29. Local Source Right Channel Input: 1, two-position screw terminal, for connection of the
right channel, line level audio output from a local source such as a DVD/CD player, MP3
player, local TV or a Video Game. This allows the local source audio to be played through the
KP21 amplifier and zone speakers.
30. Local Source Left Channel Input: 1, two-position screw terminal, for connection of the left
channel, line level audio signal from a local source such as a DVD/CD player, MP3 player,
local TV or a Video Game. This allows the local source audio to be played through the KP21
amplifier and zone speakers.
31. Power Terminal: 1, four position screw terminal connects a specific KP21 Keypad Power
Terminal [rectangle 4] on an associated WPS21 Power Hub to provide power to the KP21
keypad and amplifier.
32. Keypad Bezel: Snap-on cover for KP21.
