Overlay
Overlaysareusedtoprovideextrainformation,suchasforensicvideoanalysisorduringproductinstallationandconguration.
Overlaysaresuperimposedoverthevideostream.
Anoverlaytextcandisplaythecurrentdateandtime,oratextstring.
Whenusingatextstring,modierscanbeusedtodisplayinformationsuchasthecurrentbitrateorthecurrentframerate.

OverlayImage
Anoverlayimageisastaticimagesuperimposedoverthevideostream.Theimage,forexampleacompanylogo,isusedtoprovide
extrainformationortomaskapartoftheimage.
Sinceitisstatic,thepositionandsizeofanoverlayimagewillremainthesameregardlessofresolutionandPan/Tilt/Zoommovements.
Useaprivacymasktosetupadynamicmaskwhichwillalwaysmaskthespeciedpartofmonitoredarea.

Touseanoverlayimage,theimagemustrstbeuploadedtotheAxisproduct.TheuploadedimageshouldbeaWindows24-bitBMP
imagewithmaximum250colors.Theimagewidthandheight,inpixels,mustbeexactlydivisibleby4andcannotbelargerthanthe
maximumimageresolution.Ifcombiningtextandimageoverlays,takeintoconsiderationthatthetextoverlayoccupies16or32
pixelsinheight(dependingontheresolution)andhasthesamewidthasthevideoimage.
