Cameratampering
Thecameratamperingdetectorgeneratesanalarmwhenthescenechanges,forexample,whenthelensiscovered,sprayed
orseverelyputoutoffocus,andthetimeinTriggerdelayhaspassed.Thetamperingdetectoronlyactivateswhenthecamera
hasnotmovedforatleast10seconds.Duringthisperiod,thedetectorsetsupascenemodeltouseasacomparisontodetect
tamperingincurrentimages.Forthescenemodeltobesetupproperly,makesurethatthecameraisinfocus,thelighting
conditionsarecorrect,andthecameradoesn’tpointatascenethatlackscontours,forexample,ablankwall.Cameratampering
canbeusedasaconditiontotriggeractions.
Triggerdelay:Entertheminimumtimethatthetamperingconditionsmustbeactivebeforethealarmtriggers.Thiscanhelp
preventfalsealarmsforknownconditionsthataffecttheimage.
Triggerondarkimages:Itisverydifculttogeneratealarmswhenthecameralensissprayed,sinceitisimpossibletodistinguish
thateventfromothersituationswheretheimageturnsdarkinasimilarway,forexample,whenthelightingconditionschange.
Turnonthisparametertogeneratealarmsforallcaseswheretheimageturnsdark.Whenit’sturnedoff,thedevicedoesn’t
generateanyalarmwhentheimageturnsdark.

Audiodetection
Thesesettingsareavailableforeachaudioinput.
Soundlevel:Adjustthesoundleveltoavaluefrom0–100,where0isthemostsensitiveand100theleastsensitive.Usethe
activityindicatorasaguidewhenyousetthesoundlevel.Whenyoucreateevents,youcanusethesoundlevelasacondition.
Youcanchoosetotriggeranactionifthesoundlevelrisesabove,fallsbeloworpassesthesetvalue.
Edge-to-edge
Pairing
PairingallowsyoutouseacompatibleAxisnetworkspeakerormicrophoneasifit’spartofthecamera.Oncepaired,thenetwork
speakeractsasanaudiooutdevicewhereyoucanplayaudioclipsandtransmitsoundthroughthecamera.Thenetworkmicrophone
willtakeupsoundsfromthesurroundingareaandmakeitavailableasanaudioinputdevice,usableinmediastreamsandrecordings.

Forthisfeaturetoworkwithavideomanagementsoftware(VMS),youmustrstpairthecamerawiththespeakeror
microphone,thenaddthecameratoyourVMS.
Seta'Waitbetweenactions(hh:mm:ss)'limitintheeventrulewhenyouuseanetworkpairedaudiodeviceinanevent
rulewith'Audiodetection'asconditionand'Playaudioclip'asaction.Thiswillhelpyouavoidaloopingdetectionifthe
capturingmicrophonepicksupaudiofromthespeaker.
