whichrequiresmorebandwidthwithoutaddingimageinformation.
Capturemodes
Acapturemodeisapresetcongurationthatdeneshowthecamerawillcaptureimages.Theselectedmodecanaffectthe
maximumresolutionandmaximumframerateavailableintheAxisproduct.Ifusingacapturemodewithalowerresolutionthan
themaximum,theeldofviewmightbereduced.Thecapturemodealsoaffectstheshutterspeed,whichinturnaffectsthelight
sensitivity—acapturemodewithahighmaximumframeratewillhavereducedlightsensitivity,andviceversa.Notethatwhen
usingcertaincapturemodesyoumightnotbeabletouseWDR.
Acapturemodeisapresetcongurationthatdeneshowthecamerawillcaptureimages.Thecapturemodesettingcanaffectthe
camera’seldofviewandaspectratio.Theshutterspeedcanalsobeaffected,whichinturnwillaffectthelightsensitivity.
Thelowerresolutioncapturemodemaybesampledfromtheoriginalresolution,oritmaybecroppedoutfromtheoriginal,in
whichcasetheeldofviewmayalsobeaffected.
