1.ClickOpeniristoopentheiristoitsmaximumposition.Thisgivesthesmallestdepthofeldandprovidesthebest

conditionsforfocusing.

2.FocusissetintheFocuswindow.Usethemousetomoveandresizethefocuswindow.

3.ClickintheFocuspositionbartofocusonadesiredlocation.

Clickthe<or>buttontomovethefocuspositiononestep.

Clickthe<<or>>buttontomovethefocuspositioninmultiplesteps.

4.Whensatised,clickEnableiristoenabletheiris.

SetUpAudio

Tochangetheproduct’saudiosettings,gotoVideo&Audio>AudioSettings.

Toincludetheaudiostreaminavideostream,gotoVideo&Audio>VideoStream.UndertheAudiotab,selectEnableaudio.

Eachstreamproleisaseparatevideostream.Toincludetheaudiostreaminallstreamproles,gototheaudiotabineachstream

prolesettingspageandenableaudio.Formoreinformation,seeStreamProlesonpage19.

AudioModes

TheAxisproductsupportsthefollowingaudiomodes:

•Fullduplex–Simultaneoustwo-wayaudioallowingtheAxisproducttotransmitandreceiveaudioatthesametime.

Thereisnoechocancellation;iffeedbackloopsappear,trymovingthemicrophoneorthespeaker.

•Half-duplex–AudiocanbetransmittedtoandfromtheAxisproductbutonlyinonedirectionatatime.Totransmit

audiousingtheLiveViewpage,usetheTalkandListenbuttons,seeAMCAudioControlsonpage12.

•Simplex–NetworkCameraspeakeronly-AudioistransmittedfromaclienttotheAxisproductandcanbeplayedby

aspeakerconnectedtotheproduct.TotransmitaudiousingtheLiveViewpage,theTalkandMicrophoneonbuttons

mustbothbeactive,seeAMCAudioControlsonpage12.

•Simplex–NetworkCameramicrophoneonly-Audiocapturedbytheproductmicrophoneistransmittedfromthe

Axisproducttooneormoreclients.

Tosettheaudiomode,gotoVideo&Audio>AudioSettingsandselectthedesiredmodefromtheAudiomodedrop-downlist.

AudioInput

AnexternalmicrophoneoralinesourcecanbeconnectedtotheAudio-inconnector.ConguretheaudioinputsettingsunderVideo

&Audio>AudioSettings.

IfusingunbalancedLineinamonocontactmustbeused.Signalontipandgroundonsleeve.

SelectMicrophonetouseanexternalmicrophoneorLinetouseaLineindevice,e.g.anaudiomixerformultiplemicrophones

oramicrophonewithabuilt-inamplier,asaudiosource.

TheMicrophonepoweroptionprovidesDCpowerforanexternalmicrophone.
