TheHomepositionisreadilyaccessiblebyclickingtheHomebuttonontheLiveViewpageandinthePresetPositionssetupwindow.
Tosetacustomizedhomeposition,selectUsecurrentpositionasHomewhenaddingapresetposition.Theuser-denedhome
positionwillhave(H)added,forexample,Entrance(H).ThedefaultHomeposition,called“Home”,willstillbeavailable.
TheproductcanbeconguredtoreturntotheHomepositionwhenthePTZfunctionalityhasbeeninactiveforaspeciedlength
oftime.EnterthelengthoftimeintheReturntohomewheninactiveeldandclickSave.Setthetimetozerotopreventthe
productfromautomaticallyreturningtotheHomeposition.
Aboutthefocuswindow
Thefocuswindowmakesitpossibletoselectanareaofthecamera’simagetowhichthatfocusshouldbeapplied.Thiscanbeuseful
ifthereisapartoftheimagewherefocusismorecritical,orifapartoftheimageshouldbeignoredbytheautofocus.
WhenthefocuswindowissetfromtheLiveViewpage,anychangeinthecamerapositionwillreturntheautofocustotheentire
window.
WhenclickingtheFocusWindowbuttoninthepresetpositionpage,themostrecentlysetfocuswindowfromtheLiveView
pageappears.
Ifyousetthefocuswindowfromthepresetpositionspage,itisincludedinthesettingsforthatpreset.Thefocuswindowcanbe
redenedforthepreset,butitcannotbedeletedunlessthepresetisdeleted.
SetNewPan0°
Important
SetnewPan0°affectsallpreviouslydenedpresets,guardtours,masksetc.
Theproductcanbemountedinthreedifferenthorizontaldirections.ThismaycausetheviewfromPan0°tobechangedfromthe
originalview.ClickSetnewPan0°tosetthepancoordinatesystemtozerointhecurrentdirection.SetnewPan0°canbeuseful
forinstancewhenre-installingtheproductaftermaintenance.
Gatekeeper
TheAdvancedGatekeepermonitorsanareasuchasanentrancegate.Whenmotionisdetectedinthemonitoredarea,theGatekeeper
willsteerthecameratoaselectedpresetposition.Usingazoomed-inpresetpositioncanmakeitpossibleto,forexample,reada
licenseplateoridentifyaperson.Whenmotionisnolongerdetected,thecamerareturnstoitsHomepositionafteradenedtime.
ToenabletheGatekeeper,gotoPTZ>Gatekeeperandfollowtheonlineinstructions.
Itisalsopossibleto,forexample,recordvideoorsaveimages(takeasnapshot)whiletheGatekeeperisactive.GotoEvents
andsetupanactionrulewithPTZPresetReachedastrigger.
Aboutguardtours
Aguardtourdisplaysthevideostreamfromdifferentpresetpositions,one-by-one,inapredeterminedorderoratrandomandfor
congurabletimeperiods.Theenabledguardtourwillkeeprunningaftertheuserhasloggedofforclosedthebrowser.

Forproductsthatsupportlimitedguardtours,thereisaxedminimumviewtimeof10seconds.
