bypassedviatheVAPIX®ApplicationProgrammingInterface(API).
ThePrivacyMaskList,Video&Audio>PrivacyMask,showsallthemasksthatarecurrentlyconguredintheAxisproductand
indicatesiftheyareenabled.
SincethePan/Tilt/Zoomcoordinatesdeneitssizeandposition,aprivacymaskisdynamicinrelationtothemonitoredarea.This
meansthatregardlessoftheangleandzoomofthelens,thesameplaceorobjectwillbehidden.Todeneatwhatmagnicationthe
maskshouldbedisplayed,zoomtothedesiredlevelandclickSetlevel.
Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.

Tochangetheproduct’saudiosettings,gotoVideo&Audio>AudioSettings.
Toincludetheaudiostreaminavideostream,gotoVideo&Audio>VideoStream.UndertheAudiotab,selectEnableaudio.
Eachstreamproleisaseparatevideostream.Toincludetheaudiostreaminallstreamproles,gototheaudiotabineachstream

AudioModes
TheAxisproductsupportsthefollowingaudiomodes:
•Fullduplex–Simultaneoustwo-wayaudioallowingtheAxisproducttotransmitandreceiveaudioatthesametime.
Thereisnoechocancellation;iffeedbackloopsappear,trymovingthemicrophoneorthespeaker.
•Half-duplex–AudiocanbetransmittedtoandfromtheAxisproductbutonlyinonedirectionatatime.Totransmit
audiousingtheLiveViewpage,usetheTalkandListenbuttons,seeAMCAudioControlsonpage13.
•Simplex–NetworkCameraspeakeronly-AudioistransmittedfromaclienttotheAxisproductandcanbeplayedby
aspeakerconnectedtotheproduct.TotransmitaudiousingtheLiveViewpage,theTalkandMicrophoneonbuttons
mustbothbeactive,seeAMCAudioControlsonpage13.
•Simplex–NetworkCameramicrophoneonly-Audiocapturedbytheproductmicrophoneistransmittedfromthe
