3.Makesureyouhavesetuptheapplicationaccordingtoyourneeds.Ifyouneedhelp,seethe
usermanualforAXISVideoMotionDetection4.
Addtheoverlaytext:
4.GotoSettings>Overlay.
5.SelectCreateoverlayandselectTextoverlay.
6.Enter#Dinthetexteld.
7.Choosetextsizeandappearance.
8.Topositionthetextoverlay,chooseCustomoroneofthepresets.
Createanactionrule:
9.GotoSettings>System>Events>Actionrules.
10.CreateanactionrulewithAXISVideoMotionDetectionastrigger.
11.Fromthelistofactions,selectOverlaytext.
12.Type“Motiondetected”.
13.Settheduration.

Ifyouupdatetheoverlaytextitwillbeautomaticallyupdatedonallvideostreamsdynamically.

Limitthezoommovements
Iftherearepartsofthescenethatyoudon’twantthecameratobeabletozoominon,youcanlimitthemaximumzoomlevel.For
example,youwanttoprotecttheprivacyofresidentsinanapartmentbuilding,whichislocatedclosetoaparkinglotthatyou
intendtomonitor.Tolimitthemaximumzoomlevel,gotoSettings>PTZ>Limits.
