Levelthecamera
Toadjusttheviewinrelationtoareferenceareaoranobject,usethelevelingguideincombinationwithamechanicaladjustment
ofthecamera.
1.GotoSettings>System>Orientationandclick
.
2.Adjustthecameramechanicallyuntilthepositionofthereferenceareaortheobjectisalignedwiththelevelingguide.
Adjustthefocus
Thisproducthasthreefocusmodes:
•Auto:Thecameraautomaticallyadjustsfocusbasedontheentireimage.
•Area:Thecameraautomaticallyadjustsfocusbasedonaselectedareaoftheimage.
•Manual:Thefocusissetmanuallyataxeddistance.
Toturnoffautofocusandadjustthefocusmanually:
1.Intheliveviewwindow,iftheZoomsliderisvisible,clickZoomandselectFocus.
2.ClickMandusetheslidertosetthefocus.
Selectexposuremode
Therearedifferentexposuremodeoptionsinthecamerathatadjustsaperture,shutterspeed,andgaintoimproveimagequalityfor
specicsurveillancescenes.GotoSettings>Image>Exposureandselectbetweenthefollowingexposuremodes:
•Formostusecases,selectAutomaticexposure.
•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallighting,forexampleuorescentlighting,selectFlicker-free.
Selectthesamefrequencyasthepowerlinefrequency.
•Forenvironmentswithcertainarticiallightandbrightlight,forexampleoutdoorswithuorescentlightingatnightand
sunduringdaytime,selectFlicker-reduced.
Selectthesamefrequencyasthepowerlinefrequency.
•Tolockthecurrentexposuresettings,selectHoldcurrent.
OptimizeIRillumination
Inmostcases,theexposureoftheimageisautomaticallyadjustedtoobtainoptimalimagequality.Ifthecameraisplacedclosetoa
walloracorner,itcansometimesresultinsaturationofpartsoftheimage.Whenthishappens,theLED’sclosesttothewallor
cornerareautomaticallydimmedtoavoidsaturatingtheimage.
Dependingontheinstallationenvironmentandtheconditionsaroundthecamera,forexampleexternallightsourcesinthescene,
youcansometimesimprovetheIRilluminationifyoumanuallyadjusttheintensityoftheLED’s.
