Preparations

Pretreatmentofparts
Dependingonthepartmaterialandtypeofpaintappliedatfactory,differentpretreatmentshouldbedoneforthenewpaintto
adhereaswellaspossible.Cleanthepartsproperlytoremoveoil,greaseanddust.
Powdercoatedparts-Useaprimer.Alternatively,removetheoriginalpowdercoatingdowntothebasematerial,usingne
sandpaper,andcleanthepartsbeforepainting.
Anodisedandchromatedparts-Useaprimer.
Uncoatedstainlesssteel-Nospecialpretreatmentisneeded,butmakesurethatthesurfaceiscleanbeforepainting.
Plastic-Useaprimer.

Disassembly
1.Insertascrewdriverunderthewiperandpushitasclosetothefasteningaspossible.Pullthewiperstraightout
toremoveit.
CAUTION
•Pullingonthewiperarmwillbendthewiperarm.
•Pushingthewiperacrossthewindowwilldamagethewipermotor.
