Aprivacymaskisanareaofsolidcolorthatprohibitsusersfromviewingpartsofthemonitoredarea.Privacymaskscannotbe
bypassedviatheVAPIX®ApplicationProgrammingInterface(API).
ThePrivacyMaskList(Video&Audio>PrivacyMask)showsallthemasksthatarecurrentlyconguredintheAxisproductand
indicatesiftheyareenabled.
Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.

AudioModes
TheAxisproductsupportsthefollowingaudiomodes:
Fullduplex-Simultaneoustwo-wayaudioallowingtheAxisproducttotransmitandreceiveaudioatthesametime.Thereisno
echocancellation;iffeedbackloopsappear,trymovingthemicrophoneorthespeaker.
Half-duplex-AudiocanbetransmittedtoandfromtheAxisproductbutonlyinonedirectionatatime.Totransmitaudiousingthe
LiveViewpage,usetheTalkandListenbuttons,seeAMCAudioControls,onpage12.
Simplex—speakeronly-AudioistransmittedfromaclienttotheAxisproductandcanbeplayedbyaspeakerconnected
totheproduct.TotransmitaudiousingtheLiveViewpage,theTalkandMicrophonebuttonsmustbothbeactive,seeAMC
