Anetworkrouterallowsdevicesonaprivatenetwork(LAN)toshareasingleconnectiontotheInternet.Thisisdonebyforwarding
networktrafcfromtheprivatenetworktothe“outside”,thatis,theInternet.Securityontheprivatenetwork(LAN)isincreased
sincemostroutersarepre-conguredtostopattemptstoaccesstheprivatenetwork(LAN)fromthepublicnetwork(Internet).
UseNATtraversalwhentheAxisproductislocatedonanintranet(LAN)andyouwishtomakeitavailablefromtheother
(WAN)sideofaNATrouter.WithNATtraversalproperlycongured,allHTTPtrafctoanexternalHTTPportintheNATrouter
isforwardedtotheproduct.

changedunderSystemOptions>Network>TCP/IP>Advanced.Thedefaultportis554.

H.264videostreamswillnotbeavailableiftheRTSPserverisdisabled.
