A2: The Wireless SSID and the Wireless Password of both the 2.4GHz
and the 5.0GHz frequency band can be seen on the label sticker of
your FG7008GR(AC) device.
Q3: How can I connect to the 5.0GHz band of my FG7008GR(AC)?
A3: Please ensure first that your wireless device has a dual band
support. This can be done by either (1) checking the specifications
of your device, or (2) by performing a wireless scan on your wireless
device. If both the 2.4GHz and the 5.0GHz wireless SSIDs (wireless
network name) are seen, this means that your device is dual band
supported.
Q4: Does the 5.0GHz offer better wireless speeds and coverage?
A4: Since the 5.0GHz frequency band is less used by common
devices, wireless performance is expected to be higher than its
2.4GHz counterpart. However, since the 5.0GHz operates at a higher
frequency, it is also expected to have a smaller coverage.
Q5: How can I reset the FG7008GR(AC) to its factory default?
A5: Press and hold the Reset button at the back panel of the
FG7008GR(AC) for 10 seconds then release.
Q6: How do I upgrade the firmware of my FG7008GR(AC)? Is it
advisable to do so?
A6: On the web user interface, click Device Administration > Firmware
Upgrade > Choose File then locate the downloaded firmware file. It
