The appliance can be converted between LP gas and natural gas, with specific instructions provided for each. It features a control knob for adjusting the flame and an ignitor button for lighting the burner. The fire table includes a burner assembly, a control panel, and a compartment for a 20 lb LP gas cylinder. Lava rocks are used around the burner to enhance the aesthetic and distribute heat. Specifications for LP-Gas Cylinders or CAN/CSA-B339. It must have a listed overfilling prevention device and a cylinder connection device compatible with the appliance. The cylinder supply system must be arranged for vapor withdrawal and include a collar to protect the cylinder valve.
  • Lava Rocks: Requires 13.2 lbs of lava rocks.
  • Ignitor Module Battery: Requires one AAA size battery (not included).
  • Orifice Sizes:

Usage Features:

  • Assembly: The fire table requires assembly, including placing lava rocks around the burner, installing the gas cylinder, connecting the regulator, and attaching the door and lid.
  • Gas Cylinder Installation: The 20 lb LP gas cylinder is placed in a holder and secured with a butterfly screw to prevent movement. The regulator is then connected to the cylinder.
  • Natural Gas Conversion: Conversion to natural gas must be performed by a qualified natural gas provider or service company. This involves disconnecting the propane hose and orifice, replacing the propane orifice with the natural gas orifice, and connecting the natural gas hose to the gas valve and supply piping system. A conversion label must be applied over the propane rating plate after conversion.
  • Lighting Instructions:
    1. Push in the gas control knob slightly and turn to "OFF."
    2. Turn the gas control knob to "ON/MIN."
    3. Push in the gas control knob all the way and hold. Continue to press the ignition button for 15 seconds.

  • Flame Height Observation: The burner should display blue and yellow flames between 1-2 inches in height. Yellow flames or thick smoke may indicate an obstruction of airflow.
  • Protection: A lid is provided to cover the fire bowl when not in use or when cool. An outdoor weather cover is also included to protect the fire pit from elements when not in use and completely cool.
