Usage Features:
The fire pit is designed for outdoor use only. It requires assembly, which is estimated to take 20 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver (not included).
Assembly Steps:
- Base Assembly: Attach the side panels (G) to the base (H) using M6x10mm screws (AA).
- Support Ring Assembly: Attach the side panels (G) to the support ring (F) using M6x10mm screws (BB).
- Ash Catcher Attachment: Secure the ash catcher (E) to the fire bowl (D) using M5x10mm screws (BB) and M5 nuts (CC), tightening with the provided wrench (GG).
- Poker Bracket Attachment: Attach the poker bracket (A) to the mesh cover (B) using an M6 nut (DD), tightening with the wrench (GG).
- Final Assembly: Place the fire bowl (D) into the support ring (F), set the wood grate (C) into the fire bowl (D), and top with the mesh cover (B).
- Readiness: The fire pit is ready for use, with the poker (I) kept nearby for convenience.
- Supervision: Do not allow children or pets near the fire pit without supervision.
- Temperature: Do not touch the surface of the fire pit while in use. The mesh cover handle can reach extreme temperatures; use the poker for handling.
- Location: For outdoor use ONLY. Never burn indoors or in enclosed areas (vehicles, tents, garages) due to carbon monoxide hazard. Place the fire pit no closer than 10 feet (3.05 meters) from walls or combustibles. Do not use under overhead cables, power lines, overhanging trees, shrubs, or on long/dry grass/leaves.
- Surface: Always use on a hard, level, non-combustible surface like concrete, rock, or stone. Asphalt or blacktop may not be suitable. Do NOT use on wooden decks.
- Fuel: Burn only seasoned hardwood or fire logs. Do not use gasoline or kerosene to start the fire. Burn only 8.8 lbs (4 kg) of charcoal, wood, or fire logs.
- Operation: Never leave fire unattended. Do not move the fire pit while it is hot or in use. Always ensure the mesh cover is secured over the fire bowl while in use.
- Extinguishing: Do not douse the flame with water. Use sand or dirt to snuff out the fire if it cannot burn out naturally.
- Tools: Use heat-resistant gloves to handle hot tools. Adequate fire extinguishing material should be readily available.
- Storage Cover: Never place a storage cover on the fire pit when in use. Ensure the fire pit and mesh cover have cooled before placing a storage cover.
Maintenance Features:
- Cooling: Allow the fire pit to cool completely before moving or cleaning.
- Cleaning: Clean after each use to extend the life of the fire pit. Use a soft cloth to wipe the fire pit and poker. Do not attempt to clean while hot.
- Storage: Store in a cool, clean, dry place. Place a storage cover over the fire pit once it has cooled.
- Rust: Rust may appear on the inside of the fire bowl. Surfaces may need occasional touch-up with commercially available black high-temperature spray paint.
- Handling: Use gloves in lieu of bare hands while handling.
Warranty:
The product comes with a 1-YEAR LIMITED FRAME WARRANTY. If the item fails due to a defect in material or workmanship within one year of purchase, it will be replaced or repaired free of charge.
