Do not add front axle oil over the
upper limit level.

Check the front axle oil before
starting the engine or at least
in 5 minutes after the engine is
stopped.

When trying to use new oil from
a different manufacturer or oil
with different viscosity, drain
used oil completely before add-
ing new oil.
NOTE
CAUTION

If oil gets on your skin, it can ir-
ritate the skin and cause a skin
condition. Make sure to clean
your skin with soap and water or
hand cleaner thoroughly.

Make sure to cool down the en-
gine sufficiently before draining
oil. Oil is very hot and can cause a
burn if changing oil right after the
engine is stopped.

REPLACING TRANSMISSION
FLUID FILTER CARTRIDGE

The HST oil lter is located under
the oor.

Remove the hydraulic oil lter el-
ement by turning it counterclock-
wise with a wrench.

Apply a thin lm of oil to the O-ring
of a new cartridge and install the
new cartridge by tightening it with
a hand. When its packing touches
the sealing surface, turn it approx.
2/3 turns further with a wrench.

Add hydraulic oil to the specified
level.

Check the oil level with the dip-
stick again. If still insu󰀩cient, add
more.
