Wash foam element per instructions:
1. Fill a washing pan large enough to hold
the element with a nonammable
cleaning solvent. Immerse element in
the solvent washing it.
2. Squeeze the element by pressing it
between the palms of both hands to
remove excess solvent (A). Do not twist
or wring the element or it will develop
cracks.
3. Immerse the element in another pan
lled with Air lter oil (B). Squeeze the
element to remove excess oil. Make
sure that the element remains damp
with oil (but not soaked).
1. Locate Air Filter box under seat of ATV
2. Remove air lter by undoing clips from lter box cover
3. Remove air lter and foam element from lter box.
4. Tap Air lter gently to remove dust and dirt. Gently blow out
remaining dust with compressed air. If air lter is damaged,
replace it.
5. Wash foam element cover per instructions below.
6. Reinstall foam cover to air lter element.
7. Reinstall air lter then clip air lter box lid back in place
