3G HD-SD I uses a higher data rate (2.97 Gb /s). This allows a s ingle cable interface to achieve the same c apabilities of a Dual-Link
HD-SDI implementation.
In direct m apping (level A) this is used to achieve higher frame rates. (50, 59.940 and 60 fps s treams are supported).

Dual Stream 3G is a specific variant of the 3G signal w hich combines two completely separate 4:2:2 image streams into a single 3G
signal. This can b e used to transmit stereoscopic streams by keeping the left and right eye signals together.
