REMEDY
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM CONTINUED...
PROBLEM
CAUSE
No machine functions. Low hydraulic oil level.
Plugged suction line.
Fill hydraulic reservoir with proper
oil.
Clean or replace strainer.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Battery will not charge.
Loose or corroded connection.
Loose alternator belts.
Clean and tighten battery
connections.
Tighten or replace belts.
Starter will not work or cranks
slowly.
Loose or corroded connections.
Wrong engine oil.
Clean and tighten connections.
Replace engine oil. Refer to Fuel
and Lubricants.
Gauges do not work.
Gauge sender needs service.
Loose gauge ground connection.
Replace sender.
Check ground connection.
Tighten if necessary.
Windshield Wiper/Washer does
not work.
Defroster does not work.
Wiper/Washer switch needs
service.
Wiper or washer motor needs
service.
Disconnected or damaged wiring.
Replace switch.
Repair or replace motor.
Inspect wiring. Connect or
replace wiring as necessary.
Replace switch.
Repair or replace motor.
Inspect wiring. Connect or
replace wiring as necessary.
Defroster switch needs service.
Defroster fan motor needs
service.
Disconnected or damaged wiring.
