WARNING
Do not use the oven base as a shelf, only use the wire shelves in any of the positions
provided.
Do not use aluminium foil to cover the grill pan, or heat items wrapped in aluminium foil
under the grill – the high reflectivity of the foil can damage the grill element.
Keep the oven door closed during all modes of cooking in main oven (including grilling)
USING THE SMALL ELECTRIC OVEN (MODELS BT2750 AND BT2790)
The oven is controlled by the combined thermostat / switch / selector by turning the Control Knob
clockwise.
The mode of cooking desired is selected using the Multifunction Control Knob for either
Conventional Static or Grilling. The functions that can be selected are as follows:
OVEN LIGHT
This setting controls the oven light only. Please note that the oven light and the red
warning light will also remain on when other functions are selected.
A numerical indication of the OFF position and the temperatures that can be
selected, which is thermostatically controlled. The Thermostatic Pilot Light switches
ON and OFF to indicate temperature control.
TOP ELEMENT MODE (outer element only)
This function can be used for gentle cooking, browning or for keeping dishes warm.
BOTTOM ELEMENT MODE
This function can be used for slow cooking or for warming up meals.
GRILL MODE (inner element only)
The grill can be used with or without the Rotisserie (the rotisserie is started by
pressing the corresponding button, marked by symbol
)
IMPORTANT:
The door must always be open and the Heat
Deflector Shield fitted when the Grill mode is used
(see Fig. 1). This applies ONLY to the small oven
on models BT2750 and BT2790.
