USING THE ANALOGUE CLOCK/PROGRAMMABLE TIMER
(BT2450 in Green and Black, BT2750, BT2790)
The clock will only operate when the appliance is
connected to the electricity supply.
1. TIME OF DAY:
Push in and turn the setting knob anti-clockwise.
If the ‘Start Time’ indicator is not positioned at
the hour hand, pull and turn the setting knob until
it is. If the manual symbol
is not showing in the
timer window, turn the setting knob anti-
clockwise until it is.
2. AUTO COOKING MODE:
Pull and turn the setting knob anti-clockwise until the ‘start time’ indicator pointer is on the
time of day you want cooking to start, then release the knob.
Turn the knob anti-clockwise to show the required Cook Time (3 to 180 minutes) in the inset
window.
Set the oven to the required temperature.
3. AUTO FINISH ONLY MODE:
Ensure clock is set as for manual mode.
Turn the knob anti-clockwise so that the required Cook Time (3 to 180 minutes) is shown in
the inset window. Select required temperature. The oven will cook for the selected time.
4. RESET TO MANUAL MODE:
Turn the knob anti-clockwise until the manual symbol
is showing in the inset window.
Pull and turn the setting knob until the ‘start time’ indicator is in line with the hour hand – it
should click into position.
5. MINUTE MINDER MODE:
If the oven is not in use (in automatic or manual mode) the timer can be used as a minute
minder.
Turn the knob anti-clockwise until the required time is shown in the inset window.
At the end of the set time a bell will ring. To stop the bell turn the knob anti-clockwise until
the cancelled-bell symbol or manual-mode symbols are showing in the inset window.
USING THE MINUTE MINDER
(Model BT2450 in Stainless Steel)
This run-back timer can be used independently of an oven cooking
cycle up to a period of 60 minutes of timing.
To set the timer, turn the knob fully clockwise and then back to the
required time (indicated on the knob).
After expiry of the set time, the timer will return to the ‘0’ position
and an acoustic signal will be briefly emitted.
