Make sure tachogenerator is not live for the time of electrical commissio-
ning!
Switchoffpowersupplyofanyequipmentinvolved!
Ensurepropergrounding!!
6.2. Electrical commissioning
• Connect protective earthing conductor to terminal M4-PE (ground).
max. 1.2 Nm
• Removeterminalboxcover(withthe“Thalheim”label).
• Use a mating cable to connect terminal box at Pg7.
• Assign the terminals.
• A1 = + ; A2 = - at cw rotation
• Only use cables
recommended by Baumer.
• Close terminal box cover.

KTD 3-... + ITD 2... B10; ITD 4…. + KTD 3-… B10…
• Connectcablerespectivelyangeconnectoroftheincrementalencoder.For
terminal assignment please see data sheet.
