• Make sure that the screwed connections are correct and tight. Check gaskets and sealing surfaces of
connectors and terminal boxes to guarantee protection type.
Note!: To protect the degree of protection the rotatable outlets ought to be not more than 5°x
turned towards their connection direction.
• Connectors and terminal box connections must not be exposed to mechanical stress. If necessary, pro-
vide strain, shearing, twist and bend protection.
When the power cable is connected via the terminal box, make sure that
• the cable ends are stripped only insofar that the insulation extends up to the cable lugs or ter-
minals. Absolutely avoid protruding wire ends.
• the cable lugs that are used are suitable for the dimensions and cross-sections of the termi-
nals and cables.
• the screwed electrical connections are tightened in accordance with the specified tightening
torque. (refer to appendix 1 and technical documentation on the product)
• the protection type is maintained.
Note: All lead-ins that are not used must be closed off with the sealing caps. The sealing ele-
ments must be fully functional and undamaged when closing the terminal box.
