- The proper pressure for the water softener is between 2 and 5 bar.
- When the pressure is lower, a support pump will be required, and if it is higher than the
maximum, a regulation valve will be required to reduce the inlet pressure to the water
softener.
- It is recommended to install a pressure regulator at the inlet of the equipment to
stabilize the inlet pressure to the descaling equipment.
- As the hardness of the inlet water is related to the duration of the descaling, when using
the inlet water hardness meter, please make sure that the hardness of the inlet water is
less than 800 mg/L (80ºhF).
- If the circumstance arises, be sure to install a check valve between the equipment
outlet and the water heater to prevent damage due to hot water backow.
- Before installing the pipes, clean them of residual impurities. After turning o󰀨 the main
stopcock, connect the water softener.
- All piping used must comply with relevant regulations, and the installation must be in
accordance with local facility regulations.
