that the child is comfortable and the straps are not too
tight, and check that the lap belt holds the child’s pelvis
snugly in position. The lower part of both shoulder pads
should be aligned horizontally and pull them down to the
lowest position.
Step 5.1-5.2-5.3: Using the harness buckle: bring the two
clips of the buckle together and connect them before
inserting them into the harness buckle. Make sure you
hear them click into place. Pull the clips of the buckle to
check that they are correctly inserted. To unfasten them,
press the red button.
Step 6:2. as shown in gure 6, for installation in the rear
facing position, if the child weighs less than 18 kg, the
correct seating position in the safety seat is level 1.
Step 7: as shown in gure 7, pull the headrest adjustment
handle upwards to set the headrest to the correct posi-
tion for the height of the child.
Attention: After settling the child in the seat, adjust the
headrest to the correct position. For installation in the
rear facing position, the shoulder pads should go slightly
above or even below the child’s shoulders
Attention: For group 1, the rear facing position in an
upright position, with reclining and with the additional
insert is only possible with this conguration.
Add the anti-collision sponge on the opposite side to
the anti-rotation strap.
Step 8: as shown in gure 8, add the anti-collision sponge
on the opposite side to the anti-rotation strap, as shown
in points 1-2-3 of the gure to fasten the anti-collision
sponge to the child safety seat.
INSTALLATION FOR GROUP I (9-18 KG)
IN THE FORWARD FACING POSITION
Note:
1. The safety seat is only suitable for use in the listed vehi-
cles tted with ISOFIX anchor systems and approved by
ECE regulation No. 14.
2. Correct installation for group 1 is in the forward facing
position and is suitable for children from 9 to 18 kg.
3. The child safety seat for group 1 has four seating posi-
tions which are levels 2,3,4 and 5.
4. Important: On car journeys, the seat must not be used
in a sideways position.
5. The group 1 insert is suitable for use with a child of
between 9-12 kg.
6. Do not use the safety seat in the forward facing posi-
tion until the child weighs over 9 kg.
a- ISOFIX installation for group 1
Step 1: as shown in gure 1, turn the safety seat forwards
(see the rotation function section on page 8). Then, pull
