4. Battery
The Bear Polar comes equipped with a charger and inbuilt rechargeable
battery but should you ever need to remove the battery pack for any reason
(ie. if the unit is not going to be in use for more than two months) please use
the following procedure:
• Unscrew the four retaining screws in the battery pack in the bottom of the
instrument with a phillips head screw driver.
• Turn the unit upright while holding your hand under the base of the laser.
The battery pack should drop out into your hand.
To reinstall the battery pack:
• Place the battery pack inside the base of the unit ensuring that the
orientation of the pack is such that the contacts inside the laser’s base
align with the contacts on the battery pack.
• Install the four retaining screws in the battery pack and tighten them down.
