Global Parameters
The RD-9 has many parameters that can be tweaked to make your rhythm’s more interesting. The Global Settings le contains the following list of parameters. When
these parameters are in use (i.e. the corresponding Preference is set to Global), they remain xed, even when new Songs and Patterns are loaded into the sequencer.
As is the case for the Settings and Preference, Global Parameters are automatically saved back to Storage Memory whenever they are changed.
Preference Name Description Values
Global Tempo Sets the tempo globally if global mode preference is selected. 20 – 240 BPM
Global Swing Sets the Swing value globally if global mode preference is selected. 50 – 75 %
Global Probability Sets the probability a sound will play globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 – 100 %
Global Flam Sets the am length globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 - 24
Global Filter Mode Sets the lter to LPF or HPF globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 = LPF,
1 = HPF
Global Filter Enable Sets the lter on/o globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 = O,
1 = On
Global Filter Automation Turns lter automation on/o globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 = Inactive,
1 = Active
Global Filter Step Values

Sets the lter level per step globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 – 255
Global Polymeter Turn polymeter on/o globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 = O,
1 = On
Global Step Size Sets the Step size globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 = 1/8

Global Auto-Advance Sets whether a song will advance to the next song or not globally if global mode
preference is selected.
0 = O,
1 = On
Global Auto-Scroll Sets whether Auto Scroll is on/o globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 = O,
1 = On
Global FX Assignments Sets which voices are assigned to the FX bus globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 = Inactive,
1 = Active
Global Mute Assignments Sets which voices are muted globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 = Inactive,
1 = Active
Global Solo Assignments Sets which voices are soloed globally if global mode preference is selected. 0 = Inactive,
1 = Active
Global Accent Mode Sets the Accent Mode to Global or Independent globally if global mode
preference is selected.
