ROTARY MACHINE RM600
Ultimate Rotary Speaker Modeling Eects Pedal
Thank you for showing your condence in us by purchasing the BEHRINGER ROTARY MACHINE RM600.
This ultimate eects pedal delivers the whole history of 3-dimensional rotary speaker eects—at the
touch of a footswitch. Experience the classic and swirling sounds of famous signature rotary speakers in
one compact pedal.
1. Controls
(1) The FAST control adjusts the rotating
speed of the drum and the horn
when FAST is activated via footswitch
(see (8) ). The range does not overlap
with the SLOW control.
(2) The SLOW control adjusts the rotating
speed of the drum and the horn when
SLOW is activated via footswitch
(see (8)). The range does not overlap
with the FAST control.
(3) The DRIVE control adjusts the amount of
tube-like overdrive. In minimum position
the tube stage will be bypassed.
(4) The BLEND control adjusts the balance
between the horn and the drum
speaker. Turning it to the right will
boost the volume of the horn and lower
the volume of the drum.
(5) The RAMP switch controls the time it takes to go from fast to slow rotary speed and vice versa.
You can select between FAST, MED and SLOW ramp time.
(6) The MODEL switch selects between 3 famous signature rotary speakers (145, L16 and 122).
(7) The two color ON/BATT LED illuminates when active. The modulation is in slow mode when the
LED lights more red than blue, and it is in fast mode when the LED lights more blue than red.
The change from blue to red is synchronized with the actual modulation speed.
(8) Press the footswitch to activate/deactivate the eect. Hold the pedal depressed for 2 seconds in
order to switch between fast and slow modulation modes.
(9) Use the ¼" TS IN A and IN B connectors to plug in the instrument cables. For mono use plug
in IN A only.
(10) The two ¼" TS OUT A and OUT B connectors send the signal to your amp. Use both connectors if you
want to achieve full stereo rotary eect. For mono use plug in OUT A only.
Use the DC IN connection to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included).
The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located underneath the pedal cover. To install or replace the 9 V battery
(not included), press the hinges with a ballpoint pen and remove the pedal cover. Be careful not to
scratch the unit.
The RM600 has no on/o switch. As soon as you insert a plug into one of the in
connectors, the RM600 begins running. When not using the RM600, remove the
plugs from the in connectors. This extends the life of the battery.
The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the underside.
