SUBHARMONICS
The subharmonics derived from the VCO frequency by integer division fall close to, but not necessarily exactly on note values.
For example if the VCO is tuned to A5 (880 Hz) then the subharmonics are:

Hidden Functions
The SPICE has a number of hidden functions, which can be accessed by button combinations:
Force DFU
This forces the SPICE into DFU mode for rmware updates, and is accessed by powering up with the PLAY/STOP button 33 and TRIGGER
button 34. pressed. The power LED will ash alternately in red, amber and green while FORCE DFU mode is active.
Calibration
The SPICE has two calibration modes. While either is active the power LED will light in green.
Duty Circle Calibration: press and hold the PLAY/STOP button 33 then press the QUANTIZE button 36.
Frequency Calibration: press and hold the PLAY/STOP button 33 then press the SEQ OCT button 35.
The SPICE will exit calibration mode when it is complete.
Legato Glide Time
To set the legato glide time, in the range 0 to 5080 ms, press and hold the PLAY/STOP button 33 and rotate the TEMPO control 29 until
the desired time is achieved. Release PLAY/STOP to exit.
Fine Tuning
To ne tune the SPICE press and hold OSC 1 button 8 and OSC 2 button 18 When all four QUANTIZE LEDs are ashing and the power
LED is lit green then the TEMPO control 29 can be used for ne tuning. At center there is no ne tuning. Turn the control counter-
clockwise to tune down by a maximum of 50 cents; clockwise to tune up by the same amount. Press the QUANTIZE button 36 to exit
ne tuning mode.
Clock Source Selection
To select the SPICEs clock source press and hold the RESET button 30. A QUANTIZE LED will ash to show the current clock source:

. Jl12 MIDI DIN
. ET08 USB
. ET12 Analog via Clock Input 74
Use the QUANTIZE button 36 to toggle the sources. Release the RESET button to exit.
Restore Factory Settings
To restore the SPICE to its factor settings press and hold the PLAY/STOP button 33 then press the TRIGGER button 34.
