6.19 Operation recommendations
for the Hygiene Compartment:

• Whle puttng the food n ths
compartment for the purposes of
hygenzaton of the food surface, always
put your meat, chcken, fsh, mlk and
dary products n the compartment by
keepng them n ther packagng.
• Placng any product other than food n
ths compartment for hygene purposes s
defntely not sutable.
• If you put the food n the hygene
compartment wthout removng them
from ther grocery bag, hygene shall be
provded for the surface of the bag only,
and the food packages shall not receve
lght. Thus, you shall remove the food
products from the grocery bag whle
placng them.
• It s adequate to apply hygene procedure
to the same food only once, and t s not
sutable to apply the procedure more than
once.
• If the procedure shall not be repeated for
other food when the hygene procedure
s completed, we recommend you to store
only delcatessen and breakfast food n
ths compartment. It s not recommended
to store vegetables and fruts for a long
tme n ths compartment as the hygene
compartment s colder than other parts of
the refrgerator.
• Before actvatng the hygene
functon from the dsplay control
panel, t s recommended to put the
food prevously stored n the hygene
compartment n another area of
the refrgerator temporarly. When
the hygene procedure s actve, t s
recommended to keep the products to
be rendered hygenc for the frst tme
only nsde the compartment. When
the hygene procedure s completed,
you may move the food you have
removed back to the compartment.
• For an effectve hygene functon,
products shall be placed by leavng a
dstance between them and ensurng
that they do not block the lght.
• Make sure that food s not placed
on each other before actvatng the
hygene feature.
