6.19 Operation recommendations
for the Hygiene Compartment:

• Whle puttng the food n ths
compartment for the purposes of
hygenzaton of the food surface, always
put your meat, chcken, fsh, mlk and
dary products n the compartment by
keepng them n ther packagng.
• Placng any product other than food n
ths compartment for hygene purposes s
defntely not sutable.
• If you put the food n the hygene
compartment wthout removng them
from ther grocery bag, hygene shall be
provded for the surface of the bag only,
and the food packages shall not receve
lght. Thus, you shall remove the food
products from the grocery bag whle
placng them.
• It s adequate to apply hygene procedure
to the same food only once, and t s not
sutable to apply the procedure more than
once.
• If the procedure shall not be repeated for
other food when the hygene procedure
s completed, we recommend you to store
only delcatessen and breakfast food n
ths compartment. It s not recommended
to store vegetables and fruts for a long
tme n ths compartment as the hygene
compartment s colder than other parts of
the refrgerator.
• Before actvatng the hygene
functon from the dsplay control
panel, t s recommended to put the
food prevously stored n the hygene
compartment n another area of
the refrgerator temporarly. When
the hygene procedure s actve, t s
recommended to keep the products to
be rendered hygenc for the frst tme
only nsde the compartment. When
the hygene procedure s completed,
you may move the food you have
removed back to the compartment.
• For an effectve hygene functon,
products shall be placed by leavng a
dstance between them and ensurng
that they do not block the lght.
• Make sure that food s not placed
on each other before actvatng the
hygene feature.
