Overview

The Belimo NF24A is a spring return actuator designed for adjusting air dampers in ventilation and air conditioning systems within buildings. It is suitable for air dampers up to approximately 2 m² and operates with a nominal voltage of AC/DC 24 V, providing open-close control.

Function Description:

The actuator operates by moving the damper to its operating position while simultaneously tensioning an internal return spring. In the event of a power supply interruption, the damper is automatically returned to a safety position by the force of the spring. This ensures that the damper defaults to a safe state during power outages. The actuator is overload-proof, eliminating the need for limit switches, and automatically stops when the end stop is reached, enhancing its reliability and operational safety.
