PIE RECIPES
These pies are fun and handy to take and eat later. Please everyone
in your crowd by offering a choice of fillings. Here are some suggestions.

3-CHEESE SPINACH PIE

Refrigerated Ready-Prepared Phyllo Dough
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 large onion, minced
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
10 oz. chopped frozen spinach, room temperature
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
3 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
melted butter to brush phyllo top

1. Combine filling ingredients in a bowl. Blend by hand until smooth.
2. Preheat the Pie Maker until the green READY light illuminates.
3. Add and form 4 phyllo dough bottoms.
4. Spoon 1/4 cup spinach filling into each pie.
5. Center top phyllo sheets over each pie. Brush tops with melted butter.
6. Close and lock lid. Cook for approximately 8 to 10 minutes
or until the phyllo crust is golden brown and filling is heated through.
7. Remove baked pies from the cooking plate using a non-metallic
wooden or plastic non-scratch utensil.
CAUTION HOT SURFACES The Pie Maker cooking plates are HOT.
Do not touch the hot cooking plates with bare skin or hands.
8. Allow pies to cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before serving.
