Substitute your favorite nuts and candy bar to make
a simply scrumptious, over-the-top, dessert pie.

TURTLE PIE

1. Whisk together the butter, brown sugar, honey, salt and egg.
Stir in pecans.
2. Preheat the Pie Maker until the green READY light illuminates.
3. Add and form 4 bottom pie crusts.
4. Spoon 1/3 cup turtle pie filling into each pie.
5. Center top pie crusts over each pie.
6. Close and lock lid. Cook for approximately 10 to 12 minutes
or until the top pie crust is golden brown.
7. Remove baked pies from the cooking plate using a non-metallic
wooden or plastic non-scratch utensil.
CAUTION HOT SURFACES The Pie Maker cooking plates are HOT.
Do not touch the hot cooking plates with bare skin or hands.
8. Allow pies to cool on a wire rack for 5 to 10 minutes before placing
in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill.
9. Top with ice cream, whipped cream and a sprinkle
of the nuts and candy.

1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 Carmello® caramel
chocolate bar, chopped
ice cream
whipped cream
