Why does my Beltone IIC have no sound?

  If your Beltone Hearing Aid has no sound, there could be several reasons: * Ensure that the hearing aid is switched on. * Verify that the hearing aid is not in telecoil mode; switch to the microphone program. * Check if there is a battery in the hearing aid; if not, insert a new battery. * If there is a battery, ensure it is still good by replacing it with a new one. * If the plastic tube or the earmould is clogged or broken, visit your hearing care practitioner. * If your ear is full of wax, visit your physician.

How to fix distorted sound on Beltone IIC Hearing Aid?

  If the sound from your Beltone Hearing Aid is distorted, spluttering, or weak: * Replace the battery with a new one if it's dead. * Clean the battery or replace it if it is dirty. * If the plastic tube or earmould is clogged or broken, visit your hearing care professional. * If your hearing aid got moist, use a desiccant.

  Your Beltone Hearing Aid may be whistling due to the following reasons: * Check if your earmould or dome is inserted correctly and put it in again if needed. * If the volume is very loud, reduce it. * If the plastic tube or the earmould is clogged or broken, replace it or visit your hearing care professional. * If you are holding an object close to the hearing aid, move your hand away to create more space. * If your ear is full of wax, visit your physician.
