The Commutator board acts as a power connection,
which powers the LEDs and displays on the lower and
upper marquee. The brushes are held in contact to
the three gold rings which acts as a constant power
supply. If the brushes somehow lose contact from the
rings, the 12 capacitors will supply power to the
marquee until the charge runs out.
