ASSEMBLY
This log splitter was partially assembled at the factory. To assemble your machine
follow the below instructions.

WHEELS
1. Remove disposable spindle covers and wheel bearing covers.

TANK & TONGUE
1. Attach the Tongue & Stand to the Tank with
Hex Bolt M12 x 110 mm, Flat Washer,
Lock Washer and Hex Nut in two places.
Tighten securely using 19mm socket wrenches.
2. Remove the cap from the manual canister.
Align the holes in the manual canister with
the holes in the tongue. Insert and tighten
bolts and washers. Put the cap back
on the canister.
Install the wheel on the axle with the valve stem
facing out, then the outer bearing, flat washer,
and castle nut.
Tighten the castle nut with 28mm wrench or
socket wrench until snug. Rotate the wheel for
several full turns to seat the bearings.
Loosen the castle nut just enough to align the hole
in the axle with the notches in the castle nut,
allowing installation of the cotter pin.
Make sure the wheels can freely rotate.
Insert the cotter pin through the notches of the
castle nut and hole in the axle. Bend pin ends and
spread the prongs in opposite directions so the

tap on the hub cap tool with a hammer to drive
the hub cap into place.
Repeat above steps to install the 2nd wheels.
Installation of the cotter pin is important
and required. Failure to install the cotter
pin can result in loss of wheel retention.
Always assemble using a new cotter pin.
Do not reuse.
