Replacement parts and accessories
The parts making up the emission control system in your product’s engine have
been specically approved and certied by the regulatory agencies. You can trust
that the replacement parts supplied by customer service have been manufactured
to the same production standard as the original parts. The use of replacement
parts or accessories which are not designed by – may negatively affect the engine
emission performance. Therefore only use replacements parts and accessories
from a qualied service centre to guarantee that the replacement products will not
adversely affect emission performance.
Replacement parts other than those from an authorized service centre will void the
warranty.
Air Index (Models certified for sale in California)
An Air Index Information label is applied to engines certied to an emission durability
time period in accordance with the requirements of the California Air Resources
Board.
The bar graph is intended to provide you, our customer, the ability to compare
the emissions performance of available engines. The lower the Air Index, the less
pollution.
The durability description is intended to provide you with information relating to the
engine’s emission durability period. The descriptive term indicates the useful life
period for the engine’s emission control system.
The Air Index information hang tag must remain on the generator until it is sold.
Remove the hang tag before operating the generator.
