After memorising an ARC transmitter code, transmitters of a different type cannot be used any longer and
the DIP1 will be therefore inactive.
To use a remote control, its code must be stored in memory. The memorisation procedure is shown
hereunder. Up to 14 different codes can be stored in the memory of the device.
How to memorize a new transmitter code featuring an activation with P.P. (Step-by-Step) function
- Press the PGM key one time, for 2 seconds. The LED DL1 flashes once, followed with an interval.
- Within 10 seconds, press the push-button of the transmitter to be stored with the Step-by-Step
function.
After the transmitter is stored in memory, the receiver will exit the programming mode.
How to store the code of a new transmitter with activation of 2nd radio-channel output (DIP4:OFF)
- Press the PGM key, each time for at least 2 seconds. The LED DL1 flashes 2 times, followed with an
interval.
- Within 10 seconds, press the push-button of the transmitter to be stored with the 2nd channel
function.
After the transmitter is stored in memory, the receiver will exit the programming mode.
How to memorize a new transmitter code featuring an activation with Pedestrian function.
- Press the PGM key three times for 2 seconds. The LED DL1 flashes three times, followed with an
interval.
- Within 10 seconds, press the push-button of the transmitter to be stored with the Pedestrian function.
The Pedestrian function foresees the opening of the door for around 7 seconds. If the TCA pause is
activated, the door closes again.
After the transmitter is stored in memory, the receiver will exit the programming mode.
How to erase all transmitters from memory
- Cut-off power supply, press the PGM key and, while keeping it pressed, power the system again.
- Keep the PGM key pressed for 15 seconds, the DL1 LED switches on with fixed light. After 15 seconds,
the LED flashes 4 times.
- Release the PGM key. The memory is erased.
Transmitter remote learning
If the transmitter code is already stored in the receiver, the remote radio learning can be carried out (without
accessing the control unit).
IMPORTANT: The procedure should be carried out with gate in the opening phase, during the TCA dwell
time.
Proceed as follows:
1 Press the hidden key of the transmitter, the code of which has already been stored in memory.
2 Within 5 seconds, press the already memorised transmitter key corresponding to the channel to be matched
to the new transmitter.
3 Within 10 seconds, press the hidden key of the new transmitter.
4 Within 5 seconds, press the key of the new transmitter to be matched to the channel selected at item 2.
5 The receiver stores the new transmitter code and exits from the programming mode immediately.
NOTE:
For safety reasons, it is not possible to store transmitters into memory during the opening/closing phases
of the motor.
If, in the memorisation phase of transmitters, after the transmitter button in pressed, the DL1 LED flashes
rapidly and then switches off, this means that the receiver memory is full (therefore, the transmitter code is
not memorised) or that the transmitter used is not compatible.
The transmitters are memorised on an EPROM memory (U4), which can be extracted from the control unit
and inserted in a new DREAMY control unit should a replacement is required.
DISPOSAL
The item shall be disposed according to regulations in force on waste disposal and recycling of the various
components (metal, plastics, electrical wires, etc.). For this purpose, it is advisable to contact your installer
or a specialised company.
