5. RECYCLING INFORMATION
Dancohr has drawn up technical and economically feasible targets to optimise the ecological
performance of the products, service and activities.
During the planning, design and production phases Dancohr places emphasis on the manufacture of
equipment that can be easily and cheaply recycled. In addition, Dancohr is heavily involved in
participation in return programmes and in national cooperation projects to draw up and implement
recycling procedures for the recycling of electrical equipment on a larger scale.
The symbol for the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) directive is given below.
The use of the above symbol for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) indicates that this
product may not be disposed of as household waste. This is laid down in the European Directive
2002/96/EC relating to the disposal of used electrical and electronic equipment. By making sure that
this product is disposed of correctly, you are contributing to the protection of the environment. You,
as the owner, are held responsible for the disposal of the product to the closest collection point for
electrical and electronic waste. For more detailed information on recycling this product, consult your
local authority, the household waste service or the shop you purchased this product from.
