7. WARRANTY
7.1
Warranty policy
This warranty policy is derived from the General Terms and Conditions filed with the Chamber of
Commerce.
The Supplier extends a 24-month general warranty on this product with regard to defects and a
maximum of 60 months for structural defects. The warranty period begins on the date of invoice.
Any attempts by persons or organisations that have not been designated as qualified by the Supplier
to repair, change or modify the product beyond the actions and operations described in the user
manual shall result in the expiration of the warranty and of any responsibility by the Supplier. The
Supplier shall not be responsible in any way for the damages that result from these actions.
The Supplier and its representation cannot be held responsible for any damage, (physical) injury or
poor functioning of the product caused by improper, negligent and/or incompetent use as a result of
insufficient study of the instructions as described in the user manual or as obtained from the training
course.
Discolouration of upholstery and other parts as a result of non-colour-fast clothing, aggressive
cleaning products or oil-containing products is not covered by the warranty.
The following conditions must be met in order to ensure the optimal operation of the product:
The electrical installation of the relevant room must comply with the applicable, statutory
regulations;
Upon purchase, the presence of all accessories, parts and the user manual must be verified.
Notification of any missing items or of damage to one or more of the parts delivered must be
submitted to the Supplier within 7 days of the date of invoice. In the absence, within the
stated time limit, of verification and/or a submission of a notification of damage to or missing
items from the necessary devices, the warranty shall expire.
The product must be used by authorised persons according to the instructions as stated in this
user manual or as obtained in the training course.
The product must be used for the purposes for which it was designed;
The maintenance of the product must occur regularly and must be carried out in the
prescribed manner;
The statutory regulations with regard to the use of this machine must be observed.
The Service Department of the Supplier provides a binding assessment of the compliance to the
conditions related to repair under warranty.
7.2
Warranty Claims
In the event of defects or structural defects, the customer must apply to the Supplier. When doing so,
