> Place the finishing point under the needle again.
> To pull the bobbin thread up, sew a complete stitch while holding the upper thread. (see page26)
Pull on the upper thread until the bobbin thread comes up.
> Cut the threads at the starting point and finishing point.
6.2 Starting and stopping the machine
> Press the foot control at the front all the way down and keep it pressed.
In MAN quilting mode, the machine starts sewing immediately.
In BSR1, BSR2 and BSR3 quilting modes, the machine starts sewing as soon as the fabric is moved.
> Release the foot control.
The machine will stop.
Alternatively, you can use the kick-start function. (see page27)
6.3 Controlling the speed
In the three BSR modes, you can specify the required stitch length in the settings. Using the BSR sensors in
the stitch plate, the machine measures the speed at which you are moving the fabric, and adjusts the speed
of the needle such that stitches of the required length are sewn.
In manual mode, you can specify in the settings the maximum speed at which the needle will move if you
press the foot control all the way down.
