2.Then rotate the dustproof plug anticlockwise and remove the dustproof plug;
2.6 Installing the water filter
1. When the refrigerator is used for the first time, press on both sides of the filter cover
by hand and open the filter cover downward. See figure above.
3. After removing the packaging, install the filter at the joint position by rotating cockwise
until it is securely locked.
4. When the filter sign illuminates on the display panel, replace the water filter. The method
of removing the filter element is the same as that of removing the dustproof plug.
5. The filter is recommended to be replaced every six months. Make sure to turn off the water main
before changing the filter and follow the instructions illustrated above. The replacement water filter
can be ordered at www.encompassparts.com, Part Number: Z300357.
6. If a centralized water filtration system is present, it is possible to use the ice maker and water
dispenser without installing the water filter in the refrigerator. In this case, do not remove the
dustproof plug.
