Inspections
Detergents:
During caring and cleaning up make
sure to protect the environment.
To do that we recommend to use
biodegradable product.
Do not leave used cleaners down the
drain.
Tires and inner tubes:
they are not domestic garbage and
have to be brought to the local landll
to be recycled.
E-bikes’ battery:
they are not domestic garbage. They
have to be considered as dangerous
materials, so must not be dumped by
yourself. Contact the authorized dealer
in case of dead battery.
Any bicycle is subjected to wear and
high stress. Different materials and
components have different reactions
to difering stresses.After the service
life, a component could suddenly fail,
causing accidents to the rider and
passengers.
Any type of cracking, surface
irregularity or discoloration in high
stress areas indicates that the
component is reaching the end of its
service life. Therefore the component
should be replaced.
After 300 km circa or at the latest 3
months from the purchasing date,
bring the bike to the authorized
dealer for the rst inspection.
After rst inspection, go check the
bike on regular basis.
We attach a table with date and
deadlines intended for cyclists who
ride 20/40 km a week. (pagg.24-25)
Riding many kilometres on dirty
roads or in humid and rainy climate
zones, it’s necessary to check the bike
more frequently.
We recommend to always ride your
bike carefully to make the bike last
longer.
Avoid holes and steps in the streets at
high speed.
General terms of warranty
Therefore, Bicicapace will replace or
repair any parts during the warranty
period. Any part that is replaced
pursuant to this warranty will be
replaced by parts of the same or
similar design, however Bicicapace
reserves the right to replace defective
parts with other parts of different
design manufactured by or on
behalf of Bicicapace, provided such
replacement will not reduce the
function of the original part.
This warranty applies only to the
original retail purchaser and is
non-transferable.
The Consumer shall demonstrate
reasonable care and use, and follow
preventive maintenance, storage,
and lubrication schedules as required
by use, climate, and other pertinent
factors. Should a product defect
become known, the Consumer should
stop
riding the bicycle and transport
the bike or part(s) to and from an
authorized Bicicapace dealer for
warranty repair (within the applicable
warranty period). The transport of the
bike
or any bike part to the Dealer is the
Consumer’s responsibility.
These General Terms and all other
Agreements are governed by Italian
law. The applicability of the Vienna
Sales Convention is excluded.
Any dispute arising from or relating
to these General Terms must be
submitted to the competent court in
Milan, Italy.
Bicicapace bicycles are sold by
authorized dealers who understand
the specic assembly and service
needs of our products. This warranty
only covers bicycles and bicycle
components purchased through an
authorized Bicicapace dealer.
Damage caused by rough treatment,
wear, incorrect use, inadequate
maintenance or anything else beyond
Bicicapace’s direct control will not be
covered by the warranty.
As soon as the product arrives, the
Dealer is due to check the product and
the accessories to verify them in order
to communicate any irregularities or
defects.
Please, notice that shipping has only a
standard EU insurance that in case of
shipping loss refunds the product not
according to its value but to its weight.
Bicicapace will ask for insurance
quotation on request.
Bicicapace warranties against defects
in materials and workmanship to the
original retail purchaser (“Dealer”) of
Bicicapace bicycle from the Date of
Purchase according to the
following terms:
THREE YEARS: Frame, Fork.
ONE YEAR: All other parts, excluding
items listed: chain, brake pads, wheels.
ADDITIONAL COVERAGE: Any other
original part or component shall be
covered by the stated warranty of the
original manufacturer for that part or
component.
This warranty is limited to the repair
or replacement at the Manufacturer’s
discretion of a defective part and is the
sole remedy of this warranty.
