Brakes
Bicicapace’s brakes guarantee an high
braking power, even exerting slight
pressure.
While braking the burden shifts
forward, leaving weight from the back.
Sudden front brakes could ip or fall
down the bike, we recommend to use
always both brakes simultaneously to
stop the ride.
Don’t press the lever while wheel is
disassembled: brake pads could touch
each other compromising brakes
function or assembly.
We recommend to contact the
authorized dealer in case of difculty
in using or unusual noises of the
braking system to control every detail.
Brakes are one of the most crucial
part of the bike. Any negligence in
maintenance can lead to accidents.
Don’t press the brake lever when the
bike is laying on the side or upside
down. It could create air bubbles
which can make brakes stop working.
Pay attention to not put lubricants,
detergents or greases on the discs. I
makes brakes stop working.
Brakes’ liquid spillage can make
brakes stop working. If cables seem
damaged go immediately to the
authorized dealer to check the
problem.
We suggest to have a brakes’ coupon
within a moths since the purchase
date, because they need few time to
settle.
Roller brakes are provided with a hole
it needs to be lubricated by the proper
Shimano’s product, in order to not
compromise its functioning.
Wet pavement, presence of gravel or
other residue could need longer brake
time and can make the rider lose the
control of the bike.
For more extensive information on the
brakes system refer to the Shimano’s
manual.
Gear
Bicicapace uses Shimano Nexus
8v, Shimano Nexus 5v, Enviolo CA e
Enviolo TR, high quality gear that help
you in carrying heavy burden though
your daily ups and downs.
This kind of gear requires to shift while
you are not pedalling.
In Shimano Nexus, up or down shifting
is completed when you heard the
sound of mechanism.
In Enviolo gear, there is no sound but
the mechanism shifts silently and
progressively by rotating the grip.
Contact the authorized dealer for any
adjustment of the gear, it is a complex
process that has to be made by a
professional!
You can nd more detailed specs
