Maximum weights recommended
are intended to be carried by a person
with good riding skills.
We recommend to remember not to
carry burden over the wheelbase of
the bike.
Loads have to be secured to the rack
or atbed carefully in order to avoid
dangerous imbalance for sudden
movements.
Maximum recommended load:
Avoid or at least limit to carry burden
or kids out of the wheelbase (both in
the front and back) of the bike to have
higher stability and riding comfort.
Long tail bikes have better stability
and guarantee a higher load capaci-
ty under the same rider and burden
carried.
We recommend to keep the ratio be-
tween the load carried and the weight
of the rider between 0 and 1. Exceed-
ing this ratio, it will need to reduce
speed to maintain the same level of
security and control.
The so called “total weight” has
to be intended as “rider weight” +
“bike weight” + “baggage weight” +
“passenger weight”.
