  If your BigDog Lawn Mower engine won't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, possible causes include no fuel or a plugged fuel line (fill the tank or replace the line), the fuel valve being turned off (open the fuel valve), incorrect fuel in the fuel system (drain the tank and replace with the proper type), dirt in the fuel filter (replace the fuel filter), or the choke not being on (move the choke lever to ON).

Ensure the blade mounting bolt is tightened and replace or tighten the spindle bearing if it is worn or loose.
