1. OVERVIEW

This manual outlines the operation and use of the B-520-MTRX-230 PC-based Conguration Utility software.

Please read through the entire document before attempting to congure a B-520-MTRX-230. Should you have

any questions after reading this document, please contact SnapAV Technical Support.

The following models are covered in this manual. The functionality of the Conguration Utility is very similar for all

models. Any signicant differences are covered by model.

3. PACKAGE CONTENTS

Before you begin, make sure the following items are available and ready for use:

• B-520-MTRX-230

• B-520-MTRX-230 Installation Manual

• PC running Windows XP or newer Windows OS

• Serial Cable to connect the B-520-MTRX-230 to the PC

• DB9 to USB adapter (if the PC does not have a serial port built-in)

• List of the sources (Inputs) and displays (Outputs) used in the system (consult system chart in the B-520-

MTRX-230 manual)

• Knowledge of this document and the devices being used in the system
