Check the travel of the brake lever when applied. Excessive travel
could indicate worn pads or air in
the brake fluid. Either of which
need to be addressed prior to riding.
* Check for the wear on the front disc rotor. Any signs of warping or
irregularites in the surface of the brake rotor can cause vibration,
lower braking force, and increase the stopping distance. Replace if
needed.
